Martin Mulligan

Martin Mulligan holds a Ph.D from the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is Spanish teacher at Guadalupe Centers High School/Charter Schools. His areas of expertise include Contemporary Latin American Literatures and Popular Mexican Music. On his work: Corridos en la guerra contra el narco: Estéticas necropolíticas en México (Ballads on The War on Drugs: Aesthetics of Necropolitics in Mexico), Mulligan applied his journalistic background to research on the current social violence in Mexico through the Regional Music’s industry.
